DARN makes music that appeals to a wide audience with songs ranging from energetic rock to calmer, more solemn tracks, all delivered with energy and emotion. In 2005, the 5-track EP Myopic Truth (Outshine Music) was released, and was very well received by critics and fans alike. Several of the songs were also quickly picked up by independent radio channels, both in Sweden and in the U.S. After thousands of downloads from the website, Warner Bros TV (USA) showed interest in the first single Snap! In autumn, 2005 a deal was signed allowing Warner to use the song in their TV-productions, which clearly indicates the music’s potential on the American market! The new material feels more solid than ever and we're confident that it will gain further success.
During 2006 DARN has received attention in several newspaper articles, radio interviews and appeared in the Swedish TV-show "Rock n' roll TV". In
2004, DARN reached the third place in the Swedish finals of Emergenza, the biggest international music competition in Europe.
