About Me

â€œ[BGL] is a straight up, no-exceptions punk rock band with some slight old school rock and roll influences. Their songs have everything from fast, upbeat, sing-along choruses to tracks with punchy, in-your-face vocals and pounding instrumentals." Formed in June 2002 by guitarist Alex Flannery, original bassist Will Younger and drummer The Sean, BGL plays with attitude, energy and a distinctive sound reminiscent of the old glory days of great punk rock. After nearly a year as a trio, BGL decided to expand and went through a slew of second-guitarists before settling on Eric Bishop, a close friend.Currently, they play high-energy shows for their growing fan base all over New Jersey and the surrounding areas and are releasing their first full-length record in the summer of 2008.
