Barkin Dawgs Band

About Me

We would like to give thanks to the Ice Nine Publications, for we do mostly Ice Nine Publishing Co. Inc. Most of our songs are written by Hunter, Barlow, Weir, and Garcia and/or Grateful Dead. We try not to do the songs the exact same way. Just like The King of Bluegrass (Bill Monroe) Said; "Find your own style, then you go on from there and share/play it". We enjoy this music very much. We are TCB and the Barkin Dawgs Band. We come from the Great American Lake (Lakewood, Washington). TCB has mentored most of the Barkin Dawgs since they were youngins into great musical artists and this is our results. For any questions. please contact Taquilla number one, she is the one in charge of setting up the page.

Influences:

For all of you surrounded by the the current rap music scene of today and liven on some blue ball spinning through space, David Grisman received his honors as the original "DAWG" (nickname) back in 1962; and "SPUD" (nickname) was given to Jerry Garcia; and thats your history for today.
Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, The Who, Ten Years After, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Willy Nelson, Pink Floyd, Sly and the Family Stone, Tina & Turner, Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, The Nice, Emerson Lake an Palmer, Yes, and much more.
I’ve always been impressed with the Grateful Dead business method of how they incorporated their band early on in there career. My immediate goal is to get a label contract with Ice Nine Publishing Co. Inc. and then to work with Craig Miller (we crossed paths many years ago) from Acoustic Disk owned by DAWG himself.
