About Me

I am Friedrich Nietzsche, a German philosopher
I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.
...one could conceive of such a pleasure and power of self-determination, such a freedom of the will that the spirit would take leave of all faith and every wish for certainty, being practiced in maintaining himself on insubstantial ropes and possibilities and dancing even near abysses. Such a spirit would be the free spirit par excellence.
Terrible it is to be alone with the judge and avenger of one's own law. Thus is a star thrown out into the void and into the icy breath of solitude...MySpace Profile Editor

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

all my fans (an oil of Lena Hades, from her series Thus Spake Zarathustra) "And the blindness of the blind one, and his seeking and groping, shall yet testify to the power of the sun into which he hath gazed,--did ye know that"
As a background I used here the Hades painting "Eagle and snake"
I love this work especially, it describes very well my Zarathustra wisdom
"An eagle swept through the air in wide circles, and on it hung a serpent, not like a prey, but like a friend: for it kept itself coiled round the eagle's neck. "They are mine animals," said Zarathustra, and rejoiced in his heart"
as far as I know this oil painting series of Lena Hades provides a unique visual approach to my book Thus spake Zarathustra, a real innovation in contemporary art: philosophy and visual art can meet each other face-to-face with an opportunity to "work" together and "learn" from each other
I am a big Lena Hades fan
but I am not Lena Hades!
