About Me

Once lost within the darkness of a shattered soul to be, No life inside this hollow shell of what passed for a time as me. Once branded as an enemy of that I now hold dear, As twisted lies and tortured thoughts gripped me by my fear. So broken was this shattered soul no shred of me remained, A tattered, torn, defeated man knelt burdened by his pain. No elloquence inside me to espouse how I deeply grieved, Knowing that my entire life lay inside my dark deceit. On the ground I lay so helpless, acquiesent to His touch, Never had I thought that ever I would need Someone so much. Through tear stained eyes held tightly shut with lids focused on the ground, All my anger, rage and hatred lifted at the sound: I love you; I died for you. Impossible it seemed that One could feel that way for me, I knew then that His words were true, and that truth had set me free. From that day forward I had new life, for it was His life not my own, An ambassador for my Savior, into the world I go. Looking out from underneath the darkness where my mind had used to be, From the place where I found the Blood, or better said, where the Blood found me.
