We are The original Luckenbooth, a four-piece folk band formed in 1999.
We play traditional and contemporary folk music with a sprinkling of pop.
Based in Lanarkshire, we have played at Stirling, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Chapelton, Stonehouse, Leith Folk Clubs and also the Wee Folk Club in Edinburgh. We have also played at the Tinto and Lomond Folk Festivals and have performed in the Open Stage at Cetic Connections.
We released an album entitled "Finally Tuned" in December 2006.

Mhairi’s baby
Baby Thomas Phillipson arrived yesterday, weighing in at 9lbs. Mother and baby both well.

Band dinner

Mhairi’s Maternity Leave
