Love can be beautiful when you pretend it doesn't hurt so bad.

About Me

It's hard to write an "About Me" section. You want to sound original but not crazy, sincere but not cheesy. Usually mine are pretty basic and boring.I am a teacher and I love to watch children grow and learn. It is an amazing thing to literally watch a child's "light bulb" turn on when they grasp a concept. As much as I love teaching it wears me out more than anything else I have ever done.I am from Alaska, born and raised. I love my state but I also love to explore new places. My big dream is to travel the world during my summers off. Before you get jealous about teachers having the summer off you should teach for nine months and then tell me you don't need a few months to recoup.I am currently back at home trying to stave of the real world a little longer. Unfortunately I seem to be incurring more debt instead of digging myself out from under it. Ahh but that is life these days.Lastly but most importantly I am a Christian and I am trying my hardest to live a Christian life. When I look at my life I can see that God has blessed me beyond belief and I am so thankful. I pray that I am worthy of the sacrafice that Jesus made for me!Well I hope that was sufficient.
