ah, the inevitable music question: what does it really say about a person, aside from the fact that shared tastes might ease a road trip or provide a library from which to borrow albums? anyway, I enjoy listenting to the following: whiny Brits, witty Brits, soundtracks to TV shows, musicals, saltine ramblers, matchbox 20, green day, red hot chili peppers, U2, the black-eyed peas, flaming lips (depending upon my mood), counting crows, coldplay, radiohead, franz ferdinand, the beatles, simon and garfunkel, frank sinatra, edith piaf, the strokes, jack johnson, orange range, la mosca, xi bom bom, beethoven (i adore him), dvorak, tchaikovsky, rachmaninoff, shostakovich, schubert, chopin, copland, barber, puccini, sarasate, chausson, debussy, mozart...
what does this question answer? who decides these are the quintessential "get to know someone" questions? all time favorites: "The Last of the Mohicans," "Roman Holiday," "The Thomas Crown Affair" (Brosnan and Russo), "Gladiator," "An Affair to Remember," "Wallace & Gromit," "The Legend of Drunken Master"
Grey's Anatomy, Heroes (thank you nbc.com), CSI, CSI Miami, 24(after refusing to watch it for quite some time...I broke down and am now hooked), The West Wing, Will & Grace, Seinfeld, Mad About You (when it was still on the air), Jeopardy, Trading Spaces, Without a Trace, and how could I forget: Sex and the City!
All time favorites: witty Brits, Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo I enjoy the classics, forensic science fiction, detective fiction, some sci-fi (a recent discovery), and those books which are just purely entertaining, aka mindless fiction. I just finished "East of Eden," which is now going on my recommended list. Ooo! "The Minds of Billy Milligan"--another for the recommended list: absolutely fascinating...well done, methinks. "Lolita"--amusing to the point that I forget Humbert is a pedophile. Sophie Kinsella cracks me up, everytime!
excellent show...what's my super power?
