From the streets of Queens NY, HOP is one of the illest mc's to hit the hip hop scene in a while and bring to the game what is greatly needed: skills, style, versatility. Real Hip Hop! HOP was born in Farrockaway Queens Edgemere Projects, an environment that bred hustlers, killers and criminals, the type of environment that can over power a young person and be the cause of his or her demise. While others would take an interest in engaging in fatal criminal activities HOP was taking a deep interest in music.
Surrounded by music legends that were played in his household on a daily basis such as Marvin Gaye, Blue Magic, Al Green, and Stevie Wonder just to name a few HOP had developed a deep love for music and little did he know was soon to become a legend himself. Due to his ruff environment and tendency for neighborhood scuffles HOP's mother moved him out of the projects in hopes of a better life. From Queens NY to Long Island NY back to Queens NY HOP encountered different sceneries to different people to different styles of genres that's been reflected in his music today. HOP speaks to the streets, he speaks to the ladies, he speaks to under dog the struggles to make it, he speaks realness he speaks the truth. HOP is sarcastic, HOP is serious HOP is a ladies man HOP is for the real street listeners. He is a lyrist a poet an entertainer a prophet HOP is 100% HIP HOP, a rapper's rapper.
His songs are definitely Hip Hop at its best. HOP gives us a look into the mind of a young man, living, growing, and surviving in today..rquote s society, whether it's money, woman, relationships, hustling, surviving, or the everyday situations and confrontations of society. At the same time, HOP hits you with strong lyrics, an airtight flow, and punch lines that would put any champ mc on their ass. HOP's battling skills can definitely be put on your list of mc's that you don't want to tangle with. Even when watching HOP perform, you can see that he gives his all, giving a non stop performance of excitement and energy that you cant help but to jump up and cheer for. HOP has performed in showcases and competitions all over from NYC, Virgina to California just to name a few. He has graced mixtapes with freestyles as well as songs, radio stations from WBLS in New York to The Beat in Los Angeles, California, as well as numerous underground radio stations. As you can see, this cat is definitely on the rise and destined for greatness.
