FourBillStall started out in mid 2001 practicing every Tuesday and Thursday in a smoldering hot garage. They practiced their asses off all the way through the hellish summers and through the luke warm winters because anyone who lives in Arizona knows those are the only two seasons we get. They started booking shows with the help of their manager Chris. Starting out at small venues like the Mason jar and other bars and pubs throughout the valley. Pretty soon they started making a name for themselves and building a fan base by promoting like mad, then showing up and playing. They soon realized they needed a CD of some sort but never had the sufficient funds. So they only recorded short demos as fast as they could so the studio time didn't leave them to heavily in debt. They first recorded a six song demo, then a couple years later an eight song demo. Then a year later a three song demo, but the music was constantly growing so those demos never really displayed their rapidly maturing sound. Don't get me wrong, their raw punk rock and rockabilly roots never changed, they just got better as in everything does with time and practice. As the time flew by they started traveling to california to play at Extreme Sports Contests which put them on a whole bunch of dirt bike, surfing, etc. DVD's. Then somehow managed to hook up with the Van's Warped Tour only playing AZ the first year that they participated in it. They also played the Edge Fest two years in a row, and hooked up with the local radio station the Edge and Cravin Moorehead. Then on the next year the Warped Tour rolled around they got to travel on five of the dates still being an unsigned band until this day. So they rented a 28 foot R.V. and hit the road. They had a blast and became closer as brothers and as friends. Even though it only lasted a week they made a bunch of connections and partied with bands like Flogging Molly, River City Rebels, and Left Alone. They also got dubbed as one of the top ten bands on the Beyond Warped DVD. As their sound progressed along with their stage show they were soon playing with the Voodoo Glowskulls to the Nekromantix and other bands that have been doing it for decades along with gaining their respect. they soon started becoming aquainted with all the bands they listened to throughout their adolescents. They were playing gigs at Nita's Hideaway with the Horrorpops, The Cajun House (Venue of Scottsdale) with the Misfits and have had the pleasure of playing with the Reverend Horton Heat two years in a row at the Marquee Theatre. They also would team up with another Arizona band Authority Zero and have kickass shows along with awesome dub reggae ska bands like Underwater and Fayuca who are all now very close friends. FourBillStall continues to play and doesn't plan on quitting. You can still catch them on Local Frequency on the Edge 103.9 if you listen to it a lot. They still have yet to record their full length album, but that time is drawing very near. they recently teamed up with Fairlane Promotions and also recorded a 45 minute live show from Tempe at the Clubhouse. they are working on getting that out there. Keep your ears open and catch a show if you can. You wont regret it. "Thank you to all the fans and friends we've made throughout the years, and also thank you for supporting and sporting our stickers, demos, and t-shirts we love you one and all." spread the good word, and don't forget to rock out with your cock out!!! YEEEAAAAHH!!!
