What if Darwin had it all wrong? Or what if we’ve taken survival of the fittest too far? What if our purpose is not to survive? Every individual organism still dies. What if we stopped thinking we were here, on this planet, to make sure our kind; our species, our races, our religious beliefs, or our nations survived, but instead our purpose was to give life, as we know it, a fighting chance to grow old, ancient even?We can’t always help everyone but at least we can stop harming them. I challenge each of you to recognize this in all levels of your life. You can’t help everyone. What you can do is strive to do less damage to everyone and everything around you, especially but not exclusively what you hold most dear; you’re friends, your family, and your fellow lovers of humanity at peace in nature.
