Spoken Word Poetry Café events. Our objective is to provide a Christ-centered environment where God is glorified and Christians can come together to fellowship, network, share their God-given talents, and encourage each other. This is done through the creative medium of spoken word, poetry, song, music and any other avenue that God helps us to develop.
At this time, SWPC events usually take place every other month, at a local venue in Brooklyn. These events are filled with food, fun, and healthy fellowship. We welcome you to come out and participate in a variety of interactive activities where you’ll meet new people, hear some serious poetry, win raffles/free giveaways. Music is provided by some of the finest Gospel DJ’s in NYC. Whether you come alone, or just want to hang out with a group of friends, we guarantee you will be blessed and refreshed!Ps.
