I am here for Friends

About Me

My name is Rachael and I originally got on MySpace to keep up with my son's busy life since I never got to see him. And now he's 18, finished high school and in an internship program at Bethany Church, where he hopes to graduate and become a missionary ... helping those around the world in need.I'm happily married and have a son ... Joshua. I've been disabled for 7 years now with a rare form of neuropathy that keeps me from working, but I still enjoy life with my family, hobbies and 3 dogs.I'm glad to say, that because of MySpace I've been able to find many of my oldest and dearest friends I had lost touch with over the years. From childhood to high school graduation ... they've all been missed dearly. Thank God for technology, huh?!

People around my age, who are looking to make friends. I'm not interested in becoming someone's .. hook-up, swinger parter number 3, or new groupie. But all others are welcome!

Music:

I have an eclectic taste... something I'm proud my son picked up as well. But I guess if I had to choose certain performers and groups ..... Chris Daughtry, Journey, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Sugarland, Maroon 5, Michael Buble, Rihanna, Aerosmith, John Mayer, Kirk Franklin ...

Movies:

I ADORE Jeff Dunham along with his buddies Walter, Peanut and the Dead Suicide Terrorist.Stardust, Pirates of the Caribbean, any Harry Potter movie, Underworld, The Italian Job, the Original Kings of Comedy, Sweet Home Alabama, Pride & Prejudice, The Fighting Temptations, Armageddon, Under the Tuscan Sun, Matchmaker, ... and the list goes on ...

Books:

Anything by Jennifer Crusie, Annette Blair, Rachel Gibson, Suzanne MacPherson, Carly Philips

Heroes:

My Fantastic Mother and my Outrageous Sister. Both taught me how to find my strength from within, how to be brave, how to find the humor in any situation, and how to love someone wholeheartedly without fear and allowing myself to be loved back. The soldiers fighting for a cause that I don't even agree with. Neverless, their courage, sacrifice, honor and character are unmistakable and most appreciated. If you are interested in supporting a soldier as a pen pal, sending care packages or letters of encouragement to the soldiers ... please follow the link to ANYSOLDIER.COM !!
