FAM, Morgan State University's offical Fashion Design and Merchandising Club (Creativity known as, Fashion At Morgan), was founded in the Fall Semester of 2004, as an exclusive fashion and modeling student organization under the inspiration of student, Mr. Avon L. DorseyII.

FAM organization is originally set up to be the authorized link between the Fashion Design and Merchandising Degree Program and its participating students, designed to keep colligates abreast and informed of the scholastic and professional endeavors and the local, national and international fashion industry, while ultimately serving as creative outlet for any MSU student who may need and/or want to express his/her individuality through fashion or its related arenas.
FAM is not any direct/indirect competition with any other student organization or club, and/or off-campus, because FAM stands fast as the premiere Morgan State University fashion club that allows students the chance to feel apart of the world of high-fashion, with an intent to make them aware of the fact that we are all beautiful and that we are all children of God.

This organization does not follow but to lead into the future of fashion and strives to open and doors for our peers not only local but national as we have become very successful in our work and reputation unlike others.

FAM grooms and trains all of its members for weeks neccessary of completion by professionals to be able to serve as strong independent representation of our corporation.

In Conclusion, our main focus is to expose all into a new light of posssibility's, that includes striving for the recruitment of qualified categorized designers and their expertise of creativity.
