"Lynn" is my middle name, taken from my welsh grandfather after he died. i've always been a spoken-word poet, but when i picked up a guitar, something inside me clicked. i knew that the relationship between myself and the art of songwriting was meant to be.
my background blends classic folk music from the 60's with the mellow harmonies of modern folk, and a lyrical edge with the subtle flavor of rock and roll. i've heard comparisons to paul simon, james taylor, tom petty and suzanne vega, all artists whose work i respect greatly.
steeped in the innocence of ages past but honed to an edge by the grindstone of gen-x apathy, my lyrics may sound a bit trite until they jump up and bite you in the ass. i love collaborating with others and coming up with new sounds, trying to push the limits of love and hate, war and peace, sweet melody and harsh dissonance, all in the hopes of someday finding that "center path" to God and enlightenment.
