Jamie Brown is a composer and musician who released his first solo album, brown'stone in February of 2005. The debut was released on his own independent label Brown'sTone Productions, LLC. Jamie's next release, simblissity, is due out in 2007. Jamie has been playing since the mid-eighties in a variety of genres and locations. From Maryland, to Oklahoma, to Europe. His current projects, however, fit very comfortably into the international contemporary jazz scene with radio and web-radio play from Sacramento to Zurich.
Jamie can also be heard hosting his "Intimate Interiors" segment on Perfect Game Saturdays 11AM - 1PM with Michelle Corr on Independant 1310 KXAM .
Jamie's story began in a small town in northern Japan named Misowa. It was here that he was brought into this world. He almost immediately began traveling it. By age 10 he had also lived in San Vito, Italy and North Yorkshire, England. Since then Jamie's adventures have taken him to Germany, the Middle East as well as a variety of spots throughout the US. He has been a resident of the Phoenix, Arizona area since 1996 where he lives with his two children and their dog.
