Layout by CoolChaserThe Suspects aren’t just another shitty local band! They are the pinnacle of what real music is all about; great music, great people, and great times. Four white boys with the heart and soul that mash it up to bring you true dub style rock and roll. Throw in a little reggae, mix in some punk, and you have the recipe for the unmatched energy of a truly unique musical experience.
The original lineup is back in full effect with the recent welcoming back of Bassist Brent West. Going back to his roots and finding his groove, he provides the structure with his smooth reggae influenced lines. Phil Martin, original and long time drummer lays the foundation for the ecentric sounds that the guys produce. Weather it’s slow and low or fast and furious, he’s always right on time. Taking over the duties of lead vocals and guitar, front man, Ron Wallace is undoubtedly the driving force behind the band. His voice and guitar melodies create the perfect balance to bring everything into perfect harmony.
You will no doubt be impressed with these guys if you see them play live for they posess a style and energy rarely seen in the music scene today, especially in Oklahoma. Get off your ass and go see a Suspects show and see what all the hype is about.
All Four members would like to thank everyone for their support. No matter if it’s DW putting up his time and money for production, taking new song ideas from some tall guy with a mohawk that has no musical knowledge at all, each members family making sacrifices to let them do what they love, or taking over Chris’, or Jeff and Shawn’s living room just to have a spot to practice/jam, everyone is greatly appreciated. The Suspects, not just a band… one giant cluster fuck of entertainment, love, and good times.
