In the beginning, Anthony Stone created “Stone Star Band†in February of 2007. As the band progressed many tribulations occurred, with only three band members left Keyboardist: Travis Houston, Lead Guitarist: Tom Toman & Drummer: Tonio Robinson. Through divine intervention, solidarity, and admiration for music they transposed with a purose and deicided to render themselves into Purpose. Knowing more members where needed for the essential, unique sound they were acquiring they incorporated a guitarist: Ajeedt, Percussionist: Ray “Papa Dogg†Alicea, two vocalist: Oscar Williams and Ce-Ce, and last but not least Guitarist: Bruce Stevenson, and up comming artist: Mary Xiong.
