About Me

Kalimaa is a folk singer-songwriter from Brunswick. Her style is a mix of Ella Fitzgerald jazz, Robert Johnson blues and Waifs Australiana-folk. Her lyrics are sometimes funny and she has been described as having “the cutest performance ever” by several old men. Her song ‘Hangover Song’ rose to 40 on the JJJUnearthed Roots charts, and she can now play 6 different chords.Original artwork and photography by K-M 2007 & 2008
