About me... Well, I was born in Virginia. Grew up in Pennsylvania. Some time in high school I started working with Castle Blood, and have been working for over ten years now. Starting my interest in makeup, special effects makeup. After graduating high school I moved to Columbus to attend CCAD. After four years of college I graduated CCAD with a BFA in Advertising/Graphic Design. While in my senior year I was interning for a promotional product company and starting working for them full time after graduation. When the company needed to down size and I was let go, I made my way into world. After some time I started working for OhioHealth, really enjoying the people contact and being able to talk with and get to know so many different people. Feeling like I was not using my artistic ability, I started looking for something different. Taking my love of art, my love for makeup and my love for being around people, I decided to go back to school to become a stylist. A career I believe embodies all the things I enjoy so much. Took a couple years before I could enroll in cosmetology school but I choose to attend Nationwide Beauty Academy and Spa School to earn my managing cosmetology license. I was attending school, working full time and working on the house my partner and I bought a couple years ago. I started interning at a salon in Dublin Ohio called Rue Juve Medi Spa & Salon and really like what they had to offer! Now I've graduated from school, just got my work permit and the date for me to take my state board test (april 2,2009). I'll be at the salon part time and at the hospital part time until I am totally rocking in the salon.
