Upful One Records was founded in 1996 for the sole purpose of presenting quality roots reggae music worldwide. We work closely with performing artists in creating tracks and music arrangements designed to suit the needs of the artist. In our Upful One Studios, we work with live musicians to get the best quality recordings. Special emphasis is placed on originality and top quality musical arrangements. Producer, Jillian Wess, is an arranger, songwriter, keyboard player, and recording engineer. She has played keyboards for legendary reggae artists, such as Half Pint. Most recently, she produced a single for Luciano (featured on My Space) titled: "WHEN MUSIC HITS", which is selecta's choice of the week on Lance O's Kulcha Shok Reggae Vibes Show (April 17).and a full CD featuring General Smiley of the legendary Michigan and Smiley has just been released.
