My name is Tommy Luna. I play the Bass Guitar, and that is definitely the instrument that I have the greatest affinity towards, but I also dabble at home with the Acoustic 6 String, the Ukelele, Various Percussion Instruments and a li'l Piano.
I grew up playing the Guitar and, like most Bass Players probably do, began playing the Bass because a friends band (the Infamous Andre' Corbin; my Homie for Life!) needed a Bassist. I simply fell in Love with the Rythym and the Percussion of the instrument and the rest is history (in the making, of course). I am Abundantly Blessed and, until recently, spent the last 3 years performing live with a local cover band called CrossCheck. We parted ways for all the right reasons, sans drama & whatnot, so they're still My Homies and I Love Those Guys with All My All. Prior to the CrossCheck gig I was fortunate enough to play with a local original/cover band called Infinity'sTwin. At the time, the band consisted of Myself on Bass, Tim Del Toro on Lead Guitar, Bino on Electric Violin and Lead Vocals and Angel Perez on Drums. We've all moved on to Bigger and Better things since then, and that band will never be the same, but they, too, are My Homies and I Love Them. I've also had the Good Fortune of touring and performing with a national act from the Old Skool called AXE, and Brad Banhagel, who fronts the band, is My Brother from Another Mother... Again: My Homie.
For gigs nowadays I'm Fortunate enough to be playing with the likes of the Lovely and Talented Power Trio go's by the name o' "The Mighty Orq" as well as pick up gigs with Talented Folk like RAE, Matthew & Lizi, A-Rival, Stand Alone and the Blessing of a Sunday Service with Mike Middleton and the Wunnerful' Folk out at 2nd Baptist Cypress Campus. I consistently look forward to the Infinite Possibilities each day brings with it, attempt to Bless as I have been Blessed and to nurture Peace in all of my endeavors, affairs and relationships... As it stands, I'm Faithfully and Eagerly anticipating and awaiting the next door that my God is going to open up for me... And it's coming. I know this...
For "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1.
May Peace Reign.
