About Me

My Interests

Taking pictures!!! [FYI: All pictures on my profile were taken by ME!!!!] I have one arm longer than the other, hehehehehehe! I'm seriously just kidding!Anyways, I love to cook!!!!! Yes folks there are some of "us" that still exist. My specialties vary from: Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Italian and Asian Indian. Okay your going to laugh at this one: When I was a little girl, I used to have the biggest crush on Danny from the Partridge Family [I love red hair and still do] anyways . . . I used to help my Nana cut up stuff while she cooked and would imagine that I was cooking for Danny and after all the meals I assisted in [Danny never came to dinner hehehehehe] I learned the Joy of Cooking . . . So we can all thank Danny for enhancing my Culinary skills. Thanks Danny, hehehehehe! On a different note, I also enjoy attending downtown LA's Art Walk, held every 2nd Thursday of the month [www.downtownartwalk.com], going to various art gallery openings all over the city, sipping on some vino while meeting & greeting interesting people. Conversation, conversation, conversation . . . broaden my horizons with your wealth of knowledge, and in return I'll do the same for you!!! Nothing like sharing what is free, knowledge is wealth!Oh yeah . . . IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO DATE THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, GO NEXT DOOR! Don't bother me . . .

I'd like to meet:

People who are positive and have good things going on in their lifes! Which includes, but is not limited to: having a good job that makes you happy, and ya look forward to going to it on a daily basis. I DO NOT LIKE drama, nor people who are, what I call "Energy Vampires." You know, the kind that complain about every freaking thing about their life. I'm sorry, why don't they go and live in a third world country where people sincerely have a reason to acknowledge their misfortune[s]- but do the best they can with what they have. Hello!?!Sorry, but I TRULY only welcome positive energy into my life. And why: Because I have reached the "perfect" stage of my life, where I can truly say, "CHEERS TO THE GOOD LIFE ~~ LIFE IS GOOD!"

Music:

Indie Music, World Music, Buddha Bar stuff, give me some electronia and trance/ambient, let me feel it ~ let me dance to it! I like anything out of the ordinary, don't necessarily care for that gangsta-wangsta stuff. I like at times the kinda stuff they play on KCRW 89.9 in the evenings (Metropolis [7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.] or Nocturna after 10:00 p.m.)

Movies:

Depends on my mood, but in all fairness I'm a Pisces ~ so I'm a happy medium type of gal who admires all who are creative in the industry of making us smile, cry, laugh and to "think" about things ~ life is about being creative after all, no? So my hats off to all you in the industry, especially you make-up people! Whooya!

Television:

1) Desperate Housewifes; 2) Law & Order; 3) Jay Leno; 5) Watching my cat, watch TV; 6) Medium; and 8) KCET programs. Yes, folks I do have an intelligent side to me ~ I'm more than just a pretty face. [wink-wink]

Books:

Twilight Series of by Stephanie Meyer, on Vol. II; so far so good, it's a vampire love storey; "Demons & Angels" by Dan Brown. Very intense reading folks! Before then I read "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden. Both were good books, very entertaining, keeps you wanting to read both of them all night long.

Heroes:

My Mother is my hero for raising four (4) kids alone after two failed marriages. Sniff, sniff. So yes, I come from a broken home BUT being that I was the eldest of the girls' I learned to take on responsibility at a younger age and the need to always tend to my siblings comforts and needs. So here I sit now, responsible and cautious thanks to my Mom and my Grandmother who - through their trials and tribulations have taught me the way of the world, back when Women were Women . . . . and Men were Men!..
