Basurado is a Salt Lake City based progressive blues quartet started in the spring of 2004. Originally two members, Candace Wilson and Curtis Laib, Basurado recently brought in Marshall Paul, an accomplished guitarist and songwriter, to fill out the ticket. His expertise in stringed instruments add a unique, jammy feel as well as a perfect complexity to the music. Sean Markey, a superb percussionist, completes the quartet with a subtly crafted, yet hard hitting drumming technique. Along with Curtis Laib, blues and slide guitarist, these artists make up the rhythm section of Basurado, backing up the heart-stopping vocals of Candace Brook Wilson. Look for Basurado live soon.
