I grew up in Houston, TX (that's a big city too, by the way); it's beautiful there (i miss long road-trips and seeing the bluebonnet flowers that grow wildly and cover many many miles of countryside along texas highways during most of the year. simply beautiful!); the people are terrific (most of them) and will not hesitate to walk right on up to you, just to say "hi" ("howdy" if your not in the city) and welcome you to wherever you may be at that moment; it's so humid that your likely to break a sweat before you've made it from your front door to the drive-way (ladies this means your freshly applied makeup and perfectly fixed hair--slid off your face 2 steps out the door & is now a frizzy tangled mess); and did i mention? it's hotter than hell? 100 degrees with a 99% humidity factor feels like 150% i swear!
I moved to Los Angeles a few years after graduating college and running my own video production company. I got bored editing weddings and other people's special events. I needed to be around more creative professionals like myself. *If you want to work in TV you got 2 choices, LA or NY ( although, lately with reality tv oozing from every station, you can live just about anywhere and work in tv, but LA is still where it's at! ) I've been here since 2001 and really like it here. Once you can appreciate the beauty of the pale brown haze that circles the city skies, everyday is a beautiful day! Plus, I can see the famed HOLLYWOOD sign from my very own bedroom window *cheers: Oooh...Ahhh* LOL, What more could i possibly want? haha :-P Karina --
