John Edison A.K.A JSkillz was born August 23, 1989. Even as a youngster John had a thing for music. He enjoyed dancing, singing, but most of all rapping. at the tender age of 12 JSkillz first rhyme was completed and it was a freestyle. From then on he knew that he had the ability to do great things with music. At age 13 he hooked up with a few other rappers at school. JSkillz then took it upon himself to take to the battle scene as a known freestyler. As he steadily tried to perfect his craft he turned to a pen and pad also, not forgetting that he had the mentality to still get at niggas without writing. Now at the age of 19 JSkillz the A&R of self-made indie group 5th Element Ent. and is signed to underground label GSB Records With his highly awaited mixtape Skillz 4 Real on the way JSkillz wants the world to know that St. Louis has more talent than is being exposed.
