About Me


Patience Clements is a former Nashville session musician and sideman to artists Charlie Rich, Porter Wagoner, Pam Tillis, Tommy Tutone "867-5309"and Bob Woodruff "Desire Road". She is a BMI-awarding winning songwriter and moved to the low-country in 2004. She plays keys with numerous artists around Charleston and performs solo as well. She is company pianist for the Charleston Ballet.
Clements started playing piano at age 4. She moved to New York in the late 70’s, Miami in the early 80’s and Nashville in l983, where she played piano on The Grand Ole Opry for five years. While in Nashville she was a staff writer for Warner /Chappell Music and played recording sessions for up and coming artists for over 20 years. She has toured the US extensively as well as Canada, England, Ireland and France. In l995 she started her own record label, PCC Squared Records, selling a niche-line of CD’s for Ballet Class. After releasing her fourth CD earlier this year, she is now available on i-tunes and Amazon.com.
In addition, Ms. Clements is a reknowned accompanist for ballet class, playing her original compositions for master teachers such as Gelsey Kirkland, Susan Jaffe, Lee Theodore, Paul Vasterling, Mark Bush and many others. Band Members: Patience is a member of several South Carolina area ensembles including Bradford Station and The John Etheridge Experience (People of the Peeples).
