Band Members: Holly Hefner Nance BioTHE ARTIST Country Music Artist/ Music Publisher Holly Hefner Nance moved to Nashville in the early 90’s after becoming runner up in three Miss Wisconsin preliminary pageants and earning her degree from the University of Wisconsin. Since then, she has been the opening act for artists such as Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Lorrie Morgan, Tanya Tucker, and Keith Urban, performed on national television shows, including; the National Anthem on ESPN, was a winning contestant on TNN’s BE A STAR and THE CHARLIE DANIELS SHOW, a USA Network NASHVILLE STAR 3 Regional Finalist, a “Shania Twain” impersonator in the “Tributes In Concert” production/show at the Stardust Theatre, and has been featured in a number of music videos on CMT, GAC, and VH-1. Holly performs frequently at popular Nashville venues and corporate events.THE MUSIC PUBLISHER In addition to her “artist” career, Holly is also an accomplished Music Publisher. She is currently the VP/ Creative Director for NANCE MUSIC GROUP (Wil Nance Songs, Hillbilly Willy Songs, Lil’ Geezer Music, BMI) Nashville, a company celebrating the recent 1 BRAD PAISLEY hit “SHE’S EVERYTHING”.As the Songplugger and Creative Director for various music publishing companies in Nashville, Holly has landed catalog songs such as: Curb Records HANK WILLIAMS, JR. “Why Can’t We All Just Get A Long Neck?” (Michael Smotherman/ Rich Fagan/ Chris Clark), Audium/Koch Records RESTLESS HEART “Same Boat Now” (Larry Williams/ Lance Miller/ Austin Cunningham), Dreamworks (now Rocky Comfort Records) TRACY LAWRENCE “Just Like Her” (Wil Nance/ Odie Blackmon) AND “You’re Why God Made Me” (Wil Nance/ Billy Yates) And many others. She also played a roll in setting up the co-writes leading to several major label cuts; including the Brad Paisley hit “She’s Everything”.In addition to running the day to day operations of NMP, Holly has also recently accepted a Creative Director position at MUSIC CENTRAL (a new Nashville Record Label/ Management/ Publishing/ Production Company) in the publishing division.Holly is married to hit songwriter Wil Nance who penned the MCA GEORGE STRAIT 1 hit “Round About Way” (Wil Nnace/ Steve Dean), Universal South JOE NICHOLS “Cool To Be A Fool”, “Everything’s A Thing”, and “Honky Tonk Girl”, Arista BRAD PAISLEY “She’s Everything” and “Hard To Say Hello” (Wil Nance/ Brad Paisley/ Chris Dubois), Curb BLUE COUNTY single “I Get To”, and has many other singles and cuts on artists such as JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY, GENE WATSON, CHAD BROCK, CRAIG MORGAN, DIAMOND RIO, JOE NICHOLS, LISA SHAFFER, etc.
