Adina Nyree is a poet/songstress who began writing poems at the age of 7. As an adult, she spent several years on the national poetry slam circuit and performing in the stage show Drumadics. It was not until 2006, Adina Nyree decided to fuse her three loves – philosophy, poetry, and music – and produce Certified Organic, her solo debut album.
Certified Organic portrays the consciousness of the world around and inside Adina Nyree. The album is a crossroads of Spoken Word... meets Soul... meets Jazz... meets Blues. Certified Organic, grown out of the nutrient rich soil of understanding, love and hope, provides fertile ground for Adina Nyree’s sound to penetrate the listener, intertwining with mind, body and soul.
