About Me

I have been obsessed with music since I first heard "Heartbreak Hotel" - other members of my family are musicians, but I prefer to turn others onto the music I love. Went looking for it in London in the early '80's - just in time for the Rockabilly revival & the time of Classic Reggae, then moved to San Francisco, where I immersed myself in everything that sounded interesting for the next 14 years. During that time I managed Record Stores, then studied @ SFSU - a Music Industry Diploma, while working for NARAS (the Grammy organization). I met and worked with many musicians, producers and sound engineers.Returned to Australia in 1996 (due mainly to the political situation in the States) and have become very passionate about Community Radio.
