Way back in 1984, Jeff and Scott met for the first time, set up the instruments and started trying to make music. They were both fairly new to their instruments and could barely crank out racket, much less a song. They have been playing music together (off and on) ever since. They met JZD and Undertaker along the way in the various projects they were involved in - Jason, Scott, and Jeff all played in INHABIT at different times and did a bunch of shows with JZD and Vsyr while they were with a band called GOUGE. Both originally from the early 90's Thrash band HOLOCAUSTIC MINDFRAME. After GOUGE, JZD went on to play in VESPERIAN SORROW. Vsyr fronted a band called ENEARTHED for several years, before he went on to form his own band called THE BEHEADING MOSAIC. After JZD's departure from VESPERIAN SORROW, he and Jeff formed KILLING FULCRUM with Jimmie Sheppard on vocals, and Phil Borrero playing drums until fall of 2002. Borrero was replaced by Scott. SMC Vocallist Jimmie left for a short time, and left again in 2005. Vsyr joined SMC and wasted no time to put in tons of great work and great ideas. We were all really happy & impressed with Vsyr's take on the music. As he was in the middle of recording his vocals on the EP - when the decision was made...We have all been friends for a long time, and played together in some form or fashion before. Making full circle with this "who's-who" of local players (and vocalists), we as a group decided it was time to close this project and open the door to new possibilities...We're currently in process to finish the EP's material. We wish to thank all of the vocalists we have worked with before, all of our fans that have stuck with us all these years, and our families for their continued support.
