In 2004, former Hooga members Rob Strack (guitar) and Curtis Powell (drums) formed Vadaath, and were joined a few months later by John Larkin (bass). After 2 years of false starts and disappointing setbacks, the band was reborn as Nailspine! In November 2008, Curtis left the band for personal reasons.
