..Ancestor started as the acoustic side project of me, Colin Ingersol; then I quickly recruited a full band. Reasons for this are still unknown, but the band rocks it so hard that it is going to stay around for awhile. Since starting a band is a pain in the ass, I decided to be quick about it and talk to only my close friends. Luckily these close friends are incredible players and there is no talent lacking. Some critics, who are yet to be discovered, have said that there may even be too much talent for one band. Ancestor thought this was cool.
We, as Ancestor have several goals in mind:
Reaching a broad audience within the age range of 5 years to 54 years.
Playing hard and living harder
Discussing and executing various ways to make people cry from rocking.
Discussing and executing rock.
and most importantly, Bringing all the band members talents and past influences into one kick-ass show.
