The final Bus stop was the greatest!!

About Me

Hey there!! ... My name is Bill, and my son talked me into this myspace thing. (and he thinks I never listen to him) Anyways, to cover the basics.. I am 37.. 6'2 ... rapidly graying hair (kids will do that). I am in a relationship with a wonderful woman. Her name is Monica, and as far as I am concerned she is the ultimate. Lets see... what else.. I love music, play the guitar (80s music rules). I love my Playstation2, I am very interested in photography, and I have become fairly obsessed with muscle cars. Currently I am working on a 69 Dodge Dart. I am really into sports, I am a life long Pittsburgh Steelers fan. 5 time champs!!! Told you Big Ben would get us there.. Gonna miss the bus though! .. I also love Nascar.. Go Jr.!! Next year will be better. Need to know anything else your gonna have to ask...

My Interests

Well I have several differant interests... I love toy trains and have been around them and collecting them my entire life. I have always had a connection to music, since before birth my mother tells me. Guess I did a bit of drumming in the womb. I took up the drums for real at an early age, then I heard Eddie Van Halen for the first time.. no more drums for this kid.. Guitar all the way from that point on.. Taught myself how to play it. Never took a lesson until long after I was already able to hold my own with it.I am also big into Star Wars.. I shouldve put George Lucas on my people to meet list...hehe.. I have a fairly large collection of Star Wars goodies.. Lately my interests have turned towards cars.. Muscle cars in particular. My neighbor is to blame for that one. I love all muscle cars, but my passion lies in old Mopars.. Mopar or no car!! I have a 69 Dodge Dart. Its my long term project car... actually, its OUR long term project (Me and Monica) I cant wait for the days when we throw lawn chairs in the trunck of the car and hang out together at car cruises.. I need to make another correction.. All though Monica and I started this dream of cruising, my son has really stepped up and showed a major interest in it.. He loves the Dart. In fact at this point of its development he has ridden in it more than anyone else. Just a side note here, but I am really proud of him. His interest and support for the project have been motivational to me in a way I just cant express. I look forward to us hot rodding in the Dart together next year when we drop the V8 in her. I also look forward to him helping me with each stage of the project. I dont say any of that to him enough.. but I am sure he is going to read this!! For all those interested, there is a picture of it posted here somewhere...

I'd like to meet:

Who I would like to meet? ... hmmm well this depends. If we are talking about just here at myspace, then the answer is friends and other interesting people. If we are talking about in life.... wow... there would be alot. From the music world: Eddie Van Halen, George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen, the members of Boston, and the members of Metallica. From other walks of life: Jessie James, the Orange County Chopper gang, Chip Foose, Courtny from Overhaulin', and I would love for Danica Patrick to take me for a hot lap around the track.. (Hey a guy can dream right?).. while I am on that line, I would like to hang out with Dale Earnhardt Jr. That would be pretty awsome (and I am sure Monica would love a hot lap with him!! LOL)I also wouldnt mind meeting a few people that arent here anymore, Mozart, Dale Earnhardt Sr... Stevie Ray Vaughn, just to name a few.....

Music:

Music... one of my all time favorite subjects.. My interests in music are fairly diverse. when I was in college (for music I might add) I was known as a 'Bach-n-Roller' .. because it was Mozart and Bach by day and Van Halen and Malmsteen by night. I love classical music quite a bit.. Mostly Mozart. And I am WAAAY stuck on 80's music. Van Halen, Journey, Boston, White Lion, Dokken, George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen, Great White, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Mr Big, Racer X, Warrant, Metallica, Megadeth, etc etc.. the list is long..My kids have tried thier best to get me into more up to date music. I applaud thier efforts, but I just cant get into it. I have opened up to some things, or some songs.,. but as a whole.. I am just stuck in the 80s

Movies:

Well.... Porno of course!! ...hehe.. well, that was a given.. Jenna Jameson rules!!.. but now on to the rest. Ok.. you should probably go to the frig and get a drink and bag of chips or something, because as you can see the last few inputs were kinda long and the next couple arent going to be much different. LOL .. I love a bunch of differant types of movies. But my favorite types are probably Sci-Fi.. Star Wars (the original from 1977, otherwise known now as 'A New Hope') is my all time favorite movie. I have probably seen it like a million times (really, I am not making that up) Followed very, VERY closely by 'The Empire Strikes Back' , followed by all the other Star Wars movies. I like all the Star Trek movies (well except for the first one.. it was just dull) the X-Files movie was awsome. Of course sci-fi also blends with fantasy... I am way into 'The Lord Of The Rings' trilogy. Those movies are just mind bendingly awsome. Everything about them, locations, the actors, the way the books are done up in movie format, the music... just cant say enough about them. I like all the differant kinds of medieval movies. Braveheart, Excalibur are a couple of good choices. On a funnier note, Monty Pythons Search for The Holy Grail is just the funniest freaking movie out there. My brother and I are big into that one.. "..and there was much rejoicing.. " I like alot of action adventure movies as well. the Indiana Jones movies, Spiderman movies, etc... They are all great. For anyone into music (especially classical) then Amadeus is the way to go. Now I also have a softer side, so yeah, I even get into 'chick flicks' .. I prefer there be a chick there when I watch them, but if the movie is really good then I can still watch it by myself.. Of course Titanic is on that list. Somewhere In Time is great. For The Love Of The Game didnt do well at the box office, but was still a great one.. well.. I think you get the picture about the movies I am into....

Television:

Ok.. I will try to make this somewhat shorter than the 'movies' catagory.. LOL .. we will make in list format.. In no particular order... Here goes: Star Trek (any of its versions but especially the originals. Kirk rules) ER, Law And Order (I thank my mom for that one) American Choppers, American Hot Rod, Monster Garage, Mythbusters (getting a discovery channel theme?? lol) X-files, Home Improvement (I realize its not on anymore.. but reruns are what keeps me glued to the tv) The Apprentice (Thanks Becky) , Fear Factor.. ESPN (not any particular show.. just the channel, I can watch anything on there all day) The Dukes Of Hazzard, Gargoyles (the cartoon from the late '90s.. my son and I used to watch that together before he would go to school) Drew Carey, Whos Line Is It Anyways...And of course, Speed Racer.. I loved that cartoon. Still do.... Give me time I will think of more.. I love television.
