About Me

I will be 36 years old in April. I don?t feel that old, so I try not to act it. I guess I would describe myself as somewhat of a Tomboy. I am much more comfortable in jeans and sneaks and make up has NO place on my face. Every now and then I will put some on for work or to go out, but then I get so many damn comments/compliments I just end up feeling more self conscience and I swear never to wear it again. Besides, I shouldn?t have to wear make up for you to see me.~~~I don?t want people to judge me, so I do my best not to judge. Now, I ain?t no angel and have done many things in my life that would make your head spin, but that is my past and I am not living in the past, I am living now. So, besides trying NOT to be judgmental, I see myself as caring, confident, amusing and a great friend and most importantly a great mother! I have two girls, Hayley (13) and Danica (7). Nothing has been more rewarding than being a mother for me, not even my job, which is great too! I currently have been layed off for my job of almost 7 year...Don't feel sorry for me, I am going to school to be a teacher and I owe that to my last job and to my Trainees that walked through my doors in the training room...~~~

He is the one and only celebrity that I have ever met! He was great...so normal, down to earth, quick to smile and take a picture and never once acted like anyone that was there was putting him out! I will forever be his fan, not only because he is cool but also because NO ONE beats drums the way Shannon Larkin does!

Heroes:

Hero is such a strong word and most people that are true heroes; do not like to be called such. I have a lot of people who I admire and who inspire me...I am mostly inspired by my father. He has a 30 year Military career with 2 tours in Vietnam. I was born on the 2nd tour. I have a picture of the first day he laid eyes upon me; I was almost a year old. He had a look of pain on his face, real pain. It took the birth of my first child to truly understand what that look meant. That pain that was on his face came from unconditional love. My father and I have a good relationship and there is no doubt his love for me. He has inspired me to love hard and I do love hard...I get hurt from loving hard sometimes but I will never stop. D. Burns and S. Winstead have been my mentors. I have been blessed to be developed by some very STRONG and INTELLIGENT women who know how to hide their weaknesses. Working with them has helped me know where to find my confidence and think before I speak, with my head help up. Shout out to my coaches!!
