Folkbeat music is a family of musicians, singer/songwriters, poets, and music makers in general. We make CD as a medium to get the music out, as well as use many internet venues to promote music. Though we make CDs, we do not consider ourselves a record company. We do not make music with business as the intent. We make music as a form of expression, whatever value it has be in monetarily, or a bed and meal as we travel through your town. We understand the business of music, and because of that, have decided to dedicate our efforts to more of a grass roots approach. The bottom line is… we didn’t start making music to get paid for our efforts, and we if we never received a dime we’d still make the music all the same. So we are not a record company, just people that make music, you decide the value!
