About Bass B.eaT. - Composer/ProducerMy real name is Bastian Boß and I was born on the 29th of September in
1990 in Stuttgart, Germany, which is still my hometown.
I fell in love with Trance music in 2000. That time it were the
commercial tunes that caught my ear.
Even in that early time I always wanted to produce my own music, but I
couldn't play any instrument or sing - so I started producing simple sample
tracks. This brought me to the real sequencer programs and I started
composing my first own tracks.
By presenting my stuff to an internet community for some years I learned a
lot. I even recieved my first airplay on the famous german radio station
Sunshine Live because of that.
During that time I learned to dj from german house dj Kris Verex.
He helped me a lot in
giving an ear and critics to my productions and the djing developed my style
to uncommercial uplifting and progressive late night
trance sound adapted for clubbing..
This however decreases my success in that community and in my circle
of friends and had somewhere along the way even eliminated my belief
in producing. I started to play keyboard and guitar in that time.
But I just couldn't get away from this drug that had adicted me years ago
and so I started to produce again after a little while and didn..t care much
about what people think of my music anymore.
During that time my productions became much better and I decided to share
them with people online again.
My new selfpromotion on this myspace site
brought me a bit of success again, so producing addicted me again. After
a short while I was forwarded by UK djane and producer Bayleigh to her
little independent label Receptive Records, signed my first tracks in
2008 and my first digital single The Ulm Cathedral was released that year
even before I attained full age.
Right now I'm more into composing than producing. In this case I'm
collaborating with my friends B-Tech, Changer and Rishab.
I'm also trying to extend my work to classical score music composings and song writing – so if you're interested in composings in any kind
of style, don't hesitate to contact me.

I always knew that my tracks aren't perfect in any kind of way and there are
many much better undiscovered producing geniuses out there. But I always
tried to be unique and seprate from the masses.
Trough the years I found out that the time of Trance music is long gone.
Earlier great melodies and warm spheric sounds used to make trance a real
unique sytle of music. But nowadays the main goal seems to be punch and
simplicity.
I could never deal with that.
My goal had always been to share emotions with the people trough my music
and only as a result make them dance and have fun, this should never be the
main aim in my opinion.
I want every track of mine to sound different not only from the other
producers but even from my own stuff.
I don't want to produce a track a week, but I want to feel the melodies, take my
time and try to create something special.
Summing up I never wanted to deliver someone's expectations but suprise with
every single track again.
But somehow music creation is never possible without friends backing one and
so I want to thank hereby everybody who had supported me in any kind of way
through the years or starts right now with it:)
