I never want to be stale or complacent. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I like coffee on cold mornings. Or cold nights. Or warm mornings, or . . . warm nights. I guess I like coffee any time of the day or dead of night. It's sort of amazing how much one can enjoy water squeezed through beans, but there you have it. I am big fan of cardigans, noodles, and correct punctuation. I have a niece who I love very, VERY much. I like even numbers. I adore traveling and wish that I could do more of it. I read music blogs WAY too much. I always have my iPod with me. I really like taking pictures and I'm getting better at it. I don't relish the idea of mega-churches. I like bulleted lists. Or dashed. Whatever's available. I NEED good music in my life. Some call me a music snob, but I don't care. I love indie music and films. I like to bake muffins. I spend a lot of time watching/theorizing about/obsessing over the television show LOST. I LOVE wine but I'm nowhere near a connoisseur. I enjoy hosting parties. I think have more postcards than the average person. I don't really like decorating for holidays. Good vocabulary and grammar are turn-ons for me. I'm sarcastic, but I never try to be hurtful. I'm idealistic and could spend days in a bookstore. Wandering around a museum for hours is time well spent, in my opinion.I spend a lot of time thinking about how I can reconcile my extremely conservative upbringing with my current views on life, how to be spiritual without being religious, how much I miss my niece and my brother and my sister in Georgia, LOST, how I can get more people to give money to Berea College (because it's my job), the many injustices in the world and how I can be an agent of change, and cheese.
