Bamzilla (known as Bam in the streets) was born September 24th 1987 on a United States military base in Lakenheath England. After a few years there his family was stationed in Maine, where his little brother Trey was born. Then, leaving the military, his family went back to Southern California, to be more specific the I.E. (San Bernardino county) so Bam and his brother could meet all their family. When it was all said and done, Bam’s parents came to the conclusion that they didn’t want their kids growing up in the same environment they did so off to Sacramento they went. Despite their beliefs of Sacramento being a “nice town to raise kids” the South Sacramento area was gang infested and dangerous. At the young age of 13, Bamathy joined a gang called Y.B.D. (Young But Dangerous) and this is where the persona of “Bam” began.Being a high school gang didn’t stop other well known established gangs in Sac from challenging the youngins’. The young phenom started getting notoriety for the raps he left on his voicemail for when people called. It got to the point where his number floated around the city and people he didn’t know would call and hang up until he wouldn’t answer just so they could hear the raps. Always quick to throw down, Bamzilla’s name started ringing around town along with some of the other major factors in the gang. After a while people got tired of fighting and that’s where the guns came into play. The fact that Bamathy isn’t scared of anything stems from the multiple close encounters with death he had being shot at so many times at this age but subsequently is also the reason he has such a strong relationship with God.2004 was a rough year for Bameriez. In January at a basketball game Bamzilla was provoked by a rival gang member. After fighting ensued Bamathy ended up on top of the rival member but at the same time was being stomped and kicked by the rivals other gang members. Bamzilla received a heavy kick to the jaw and his jaw was broken. Not even knowing or feeling it because of his adrenaline rush, Bamzilla continued to fight until the police broke everything up. After sneaking off and hopping in a friend's car, Bam starts to feel his jaw finally and has the driver take him to the hospital. While in the hospital, the officer who arrived to make the report just so happened to be the S.R.O. (School Resource Officer) that worked at Bam’s school. Bameriez, knowing he was on a contract stating if he went to any school sports game that wasn’t a home game he would be expelled from school, lied and said he was at the home game. Right before leaving the room, the officer accompanying Bamathy’s S.R.O. noticed the stamp Bam had on his hand for entry into the game. The officer had worked at the game Bamzilla was jumped at and recognized the stamp! Bamathy Siegel was then expelled from school. Shortly after, the young rapper’s parents divorced. Times grew hard on Mr. Siegel’s mom after his father moved back to Southern Cali and she was left with both kids.In June 2004, Bam’s mother decided to move back to Southern California to get support from family and get the boy boy in better surroundings. Very reluctant, Bamzilla had no choice but to leave the place he called home for 12 years. Little did his mother know, you can move a nigga out the ghetto but you can’t move the ghetto out of a nigga! Not yet being mature enough to use the opportunity to start fresh wisely, Mr. Siegel soon fell into the same gang life in Banning, CA his mother hoped he left behind. Repeating history, Bam fell into fighting and gunplay on the regular and his mother was forced to move again after a few years. Moving to Indio, CA, Bameriez finally got the hint and wised up. He began recording and perfecting his craft. After a year in Indio, The Gasser decided to move to San Diego CA where he currently resides with his cousin/”President of the label” Greg.
