In 1968, Roberta Lincoln was hired by Agents 201 and 347, two Humans that had been sent to Earth on a mission to keep the planet from destroying itself before it could develop into a more advanced, peaceful society. Another agent, Gary Seven, was sent to supervise the progress of her employers as well as to investigate their disappearance. When Miss Lincoln arrived at the agents' office Mr. Seven thought at first that she was Agent 201. Once he realized his error, he gave her a cover story that he was working for the CIA. Later she realized that he was not an American and therefore tried to stop him. She then changed her mind and helped him to successfully complete the mission. Prior to returning to the USS Enterprise, Captain Kirk stated that there were many adventures ahead for Roberta Lincoln and Gary Seven. Miss Lincoln would later become known as Agent 368, working with Gary Seven and his partner, Isis, to prevent World War III.
