Sky Solis

Born in raised in the Bronx, NY, as Elijah Jon Solis. In his early years as a child, Sky Solis was often considered the black sheep of his family, and the wildest child of all the other cousins. As an only child, he often found his imagination to be his greatest form of escape. He would later find a greater outlet for his creativity, after a hospital stay for Chrones Disease. After realizing the great impact music had on his recovery, he decided to leave behind his skateboarding sponsorship to pursue a career in music. Sky Solis had moved to Florida with his single mother at age 11, and decided to move back to NY to live with his father at 15. He felt that he needed to connect with his roots, growing up in the birthplace of hip-hop before even beginning to create music. Sky Solis then spent the next 5 years experiencing the ups n downs of NY, writing rhymes, perfecting his production, and experiencing the Soho fashion scene. It is now 2010 and he finally feels he is ready for the world to experience his art. Sky Solis is currently working on his debut mixtape (Twisted Ladder). Twisted Ladder will be defined as the first step in the process of becoming the Superhuman Mutant, SKY SOLIS.
