About Me

I’m Alice Leigh Barros. I grew up in Warwick NY. I go to Lyman High School. I’ve been playing the guitar for about 4 years now. I’ve always sung but I started writing my own songs a few years ago. I believe there are few things that are more liberating than writing music, and that’s why I do it. I’m inspired by many things, mostly random. People, movies, sunsets, places. Everything. Besides music, I love writing, artists: Andy Warhol, Terry Richardson, Degas, Coffee, epic movies like Donnie Darko, Atonement, The Fall, Stranger than Fiction, etc, concerts, New York, the Brits, Italian food, Fashion, magazines like NYLON LULA VOGUE, and novels, especially Jane Austen, “It’s kinda a funny story”, Alice Hoffman, Jane Eyre, etc. and recently 1984. Amazing.

Bored but content

So i'm so pissed that my polaroid camera isn't working! I sware the second I get it working I'm gonna be taking pictures like crazy. I have to go to the ritz camera store in the mall to get it checked...
