Zaran started writing lyrics at the age of 12, by writing alternative lyrics to some of his favorite song, he developed this talent and then a ceratain song inspired him to write a song with a melody all of its own created by himself, the song was "visions"..he wrote more to follow.Zaran moved from cumbria to manchesters bright lights & started singing and working along side a drag show.Zaran got the money saved & recorded 2 cover versions one being Rhythm of the Rain (by the cascades) & the other i may be wrong (by mari wilson) he didnt like his vocals on these but it did get him into his first band!!Zaran later recorded the song he wrote at age 15 "visions" and sent it off to a small indie lable in leeds, at first things looked good, but sadly it all fell through but he continued to sing with bands and solo.Zaran got a lot of local press in the early 90s, he got through a few auditions in a competition to sing for his adopted town Ashton although he got through to the finals he came 2nd, from this the press interveiwed him & helped get him some studio time, he went to record one song but ended up recording another 9 besides, yes he had a great friendship with the basment studio and both zaran and they worked well togeteher and acheived 10 great songs, 9 of which were put onto tape & cds to promote zaran.Zaran hopes you will enjoy the tracks on his myspace, Thankyou for looking & listening,..
