ShotGunn Haze

About Me

ShotGunn Haze is an on-again, off-again rock band based in Hayward, CA. Formed over 10 years ago, the band consists of longtime East Bay music veteran Johnny Gunn on vocals, infamous ex- Y&T member Leonard Haze on drums, ex- Vital Signs bassist Mitch Northon, East Bay blues-whiz Larry Trott on guitar, and native Pennsylvanian Geoff Wilcox on guitar. Recent bass duties have been handled by ace bass journeyman Jim Canzoneri and "the Kid" Paul Tolle. The members of the band have numerous other projects going on, including original and cover bands, and guest sit-in gigs, as well as constant recording sessions. Most recently, the band opened up the March 30th 50th B-Day Concert for HA in Oakland, and held down the headlining slot at O'Kearney's in Walnut Creek (with guest artist Brad Gillis sitting in for a few) and Murph's Halloween Bash at Uncle Roy's in Hayward. Gunn writing partner and all-around character Eddie Money showed up for that one, and sang a few tunes for the packed house. To quote The Grateful Dead, "it's been a long, strange trip" for ShotGunn Haze. Ya never know when these rascals will pop up in the San Francisco Bay Area at a club, or as an opening band. Stay tuned to this page for updates, including some recent & old pix/ videos, and other announcements ("Shapes of") things to come.Meanwhile, just, pffft!... ROCK ON!

Rememberances

Well, here it is, maybe 1/3 of the way through 2008. We'd just like to pause a moment to remember many of our musician brothers, sisters and their acquaintences who've passed in recent years...
