I love quiet evenings in my study perched beside a crackling fire, with a bottle of cognac, and a good book. Other activites include horseback riding with the warriors of a little known tribe in southern Venezuela, swimming with bottle nose dolphins along the shores of the Trinidad coastlines, and collecting rare gems from the Mahutu diamond mines in South Africa. Next spring I'm hoping to visit the rainforests in South America again, in search of a rare plant that is said to cure lepracy.
