The Eternals on FacebookTwo DJ producers/remixers Dirty Ali & Funky Farid aka Vinyl Fever. Since 1992, they have been DJs for a weekly radio show in collaboration with several others including Alan Braxe . The program is mixed live broadcasting, as professional as their dj sets, and is essentially electronic and extensively covers all musical trends such as funk, house music, Detroit and European electro/techno. In 1996, Dirty Ali and Funky Farid set up their own home studio (Vinyl Fever Studio), in order to take a big step towards musical creation. They signed their project under the name of VINYL FEVER (which their tunes has been the object of many compilation mixed by 2 Many DJ's, BadBoyBill, Dj Dan, Audiophonic, Junior Sanchez, “Dirty Dirty Houseâ€...), THE ETERNALS (with Monsieur Club ), ALTERED BEAST (with Madji'k ). In 1999, they released their first records under prestigious Parisian labels such as Crydamoure , Guy Manuel de Homen-Christo’s label, part of DAFT PUNK , brought out the cd’s compilation “waves†(Virgin) and was represented by their single “Wrath of Zeusâ€. Discothèque (I:Cube and Dj Gilb’r’s label), 20000st (Demon’s “you are my high†label), Vertigo , Curved and diamondtraxx (Benjamin Diamond's label) under which they brought out their first album " Astropioneers ". The national and international musical press (Spex, Dj Mag, Technik’ art, Traxx, Rock & Folk, Liberation, Les Inrocks...) had a warm welcome to this electro/house project; conceived as a sci-fi original B-movie soundtrack in respect to films and music such as John Carpenter ’s “Escape from New-Yorkâ€, “Blade Runnerâ€... In April 2004, after the cd release, the album will take form on DVD which will be the outcome of their musical and script singular project. Project which combines images and music offering a new dimension with a documentary (realised by Raphael Fryedman), a sci-fi short movie (directed by Julien Passemard, vj too during their live tour), the “Strange World†videoclip (single release, image of their collaboration with Benjamin Diamond ) and some exclusive audio bonus. The two brothers, Dirty Ali and Funky Farid, began by organizing their regular own parties at “ Le Bikini â€, most famous scene in south west France. Then, they started hiring out their DJ duo for numerous musical events in southern Europe (France and Spain), followed by the most famous Parisian nightclubs such as Rex Club , Gibus, L'Enfer, Le Batofar, Le Bataclan... Their dj set and musical production success under the name The Eternals (applauded by: Laurent Garnier, Cosmo Vitelli, Junior Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, Dj Sneak, Pete Tong, Kelli Hand, Larry Heard, DJ Disciple, David Carreta, Dj Agoria, Dj’s are not rockstars…) and the album release allows them to cross the French frontiers and to dj and perform live sets in the biggest clubs ( Ministry of Sound , Ostgut Club, Bedsupa Club, Centro Club, Club 3001…) and music festivals (Botanic, Cosmopolis, Dour, Printemps de Bourges, Amsterdam Dance Event…) of east southern asia and eastern/western Europe (Moscou, Berlin, Bangkok, Barcelone, Hong Kong, Shangaï, Bruxelles, Amsterdam, Genève, Lisbon…).
