Country Al and his Lonesome Guitar

About Me

As this is the digital age and no one can concentrate for more than a few seconds I shall attempt to write a non linear biography in the 3rd person with bulletin points. That way you can dip in and out at your leisure from some where in the middle while continuing to view dwarf porn/ download live Weather Report rarities. *Country Al has not lived in the country for 6 odd years. *Country Al will not indulge in comedy yee-ha-ing himself, but doesn't mind audience members doing so if in the spirit of appreciation & enjoyment. *Country Al was born in Portsmouth in 1977. *Country Al attempts to write a song a month. Sometimes they are complete rubbish. *Country Al has a largeish repertoire of country, blues, celtic folk and even occasionally gospel songs all of which are at least 40 years old. *Country Al rarely leaves the house in anything other than a suite. *Country Al can sort of play harmonica & piano too. *Country Al has a phobia about sandals. *Country Al is incurably pretentious. *Country Al may yet give up smoking but is no massive hurry. *Country Al works in a record shop where he listens to jazz all day and palms off customer requests for 'nice jazz' with copies of Kenny G's greatest hits, with which they are invariably delighted. *Country Al once lived in Gibraltar. *Country Al has pretty much conquered his telephobia. I would suggest that arranging this into chronological order might make for a fun game, but really life is too short.
