I once caught a fish this-------------- big. He was silver and strong and took nearly an hour to bring up. My nerves were pumping because there was a crowd of tourists on the pier waiting to see what kind of fish could bend my pole to such a degree. He broke through the net three times before my partner was finally able to pull him onto the dock. I felt really macho and acted like a catch of this magnitude was an everyday occurrence. However, in my excitement I didn't gently release the fish back into the sea. Oh no, like a f. face I hurled this exhausted fish twelve feet off the pier slamming his body sideways against the waters surface.
