______________________________________One of the hardest things to acquire is wisdom, because it does not grow on trees. By the time I was 9 I had did some of the craziest things. When I was 1 I fell down the stairs in my walker and my body was lifeless for over 2 minutes. When I was 4 I walked to Hardees 2 miles away and ordered through the drive through in the middle of the night when my family was asleep. When I was 6 I would sneak out in the middle of the night to go and play in the lost and found at the apartment complex across from us. From 7-9 we lived 3 miles away from town and my sister and I would go at all hours and disappear to town all day and night sometimes. We also had access to vehicles that we could drive on our property. When I was 11 I went to live with my step mom and dad in the south end of Peoria IL. I had no clue were I was about to live was 1 mile from the scariest project homes in the south end. When I was 15 I had made some stupid choices and was scared for my life. I told my dad and I never went back outside there except the next day to get in the car to go to the airport and I was out of the hood. when I was 15 I had a sister that new I could drive so she let me use her car when ever I wanted. When I was 16-17 I always borrowed a couple of my sisters cars but with them I had to watch their kids. When I was seventeen I met a very special girl. The first words I spoke to her were a joke at the time, but believe it or not the very first thing I ever said to my wife was will you marry me. When I was 21 I had my first child. I couldn't believe that God had given me not only a son, but he had given to me the most handsome and healthy baby boy I had ever seen. I never thought about this at the time, but God gave Matt a weed smoking, run yo mouth, kidd that had over 50 jobs this precious gift. I never stopped slipping and falling, but every time satan would throw something at me God always flipped the script. He knew Matt's appearance, but much more important he knew who I Matthew was. In life the most important thing is wisdom, but once you have it you need to realize it and don't let it go to waste. Peoples life experiences make them who they are. If you have a lot of experience you are a veteran, if you know how to apply it. Age is nothing but a number and respect must be earned. I have a feeling your experience is right there with mine. When satan threw attacks God used them to mold me. Corr 2:7-9 teaches Gods will is a mystery that even the holy spirit only gets bits and pieces at a time to relay to us. John 16:12-15 teaches that we are not ready for God to reveal it all at once because we couldn't handle it, but satan would also know. Proverbs 20:27-30 teaches that the lord will teach us, but we have to follow by faith. Jeremiah 50 1-10 teaches that a lot of people will get it wrong, but God will send the right people at the right time. When your in his complete will he won't let you down.
