About Me

Angela R. Muhammad, a native of Benton Harbor, MI graduated from Howard University School of Communications with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production. She is the Executive Director of Simply For You Productions. Simply For You Productions is a community based production company that does various productions in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Her first play “Looking For Answers” was well received in the Washington, D.C. area and was also produced in London, England. Her third play “This Bitter Cup” was her third major production and was produced at Howard University. Mrs. Muhammad has recently started her own non profit organization, Women Empowering Women and Girls Through the Arts, Inc. to work with women and girls with various life issues by incorporating art related programs to help them. Angela has also started a new cable network for women of color called Vanguard Television Network, Inc. You can check out the website at www.vanguardtvn.com.
